Botulinum toxin A has been used for many years to treat muscle spasms and other conditions. It is also successful in reducing the appearance of wrinkles formed by muscle action.
Ageing is associated with wrinkles and lines on the face that may have developed by the action of muscles on the skin.
Injection into certain facial muscles will reduce their ability to contract and consequently soften the appearance of wrinkles. Excellent results have been obtained by injection into frown lines and crow’s feet.
Good results are usually obtained within 7-14 days but may take up to 21 days. Effects can last 3-4 months and injections can be repeated.

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

It is a type of purified protein and when a small amount is injected directly into facial muscles they are made less active, thereby softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

The treatment itself takes less than 15 minutes and the full effect can be seen after two weeks. Patients will see a difference after one treatment, and the effects can last up to four months.
It is especially effective in smoothing lines and wrinkles of the forehead, frown area and around the eyes. It is also licensed for the treatment of migraines and bruxism (tooth clenching). It is also very effective in treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal filler treatment is a cosmetic procedure that plumps up facial lines and wrinkles to make the skin look more youthful.
Fillers usually consist of sterile hyaluronic acid gels made from non-animal sources. As we age, the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid is lost, giving rise to the appearance of lines, wrinkles and folds.
